Delete your Kanji Nova account
In the app — instant
- Open Kanji Nova and tap You.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
Without the app — by email
Email support@kanjinova.com from the email address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my Kanji Nova account”. We delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply to confirm.
We ask you to write from that address so that nobody else can delete your account.
What is deleted
- Your account and its email address.
- All progress saved in the account: your JLPT level and study settings, review history and schedule, practice test scores and seen questions, and hidden kanji.
Nothing is kept afterwards, and it cannot be undone. If you email us, we keep the email conversation only as long as we need it to handle your request.
What is not affected
Progress stored on your phone stays there until you remove it. To erase it, use You → Data & privacy → Delete my data in the app, or uninstall the app.
Just want your progress gone?
You → Data & privacy → Delete my data erases your progress from your phone and, if you are signed in, from your account, but keeps the account itself.
